Collector's note: Mega released three versions of the old articulation Steel color Spartan II in Mark IV armor. The first was release as part of an online promotion in 2009 (This version is teal green). The second version, the one in this article, was released in 2010 and may have been a European exclusive. The third version was released as part of the 2014 SPARTAN TRIBUTE PACK.

The Steel gray Spartan II was a 2010 promotional item at several stores and events.

Teal - vs - Steel
Although both versions of the Steel Spartan II use the same mold, there are several differences in the two figures.
The 2009 Steel Spartan (right) has a teal green color while the 2010 version has a dark gray color.
The 2009 version has gray gloves while the 2010 version has black gloves.
The 2010 version has black paint applications on his boots.
