This marks Mega's inaugural collaboration with Netflix.
This is Mega's initial Squid Game set.
This set includes parts labeled from all four eras of Mega: "Mega Bloks," "Mega Construx," "Mega," and "Mattel Brick Shop."

Outer Box:
The exterior shipping box contained a misprint present on all six sides, where the word "Staircase" was incorrectly spelled as "Staircasse." Corrective stickers were printed to address this error.

Circle | Triangle | Square:
In the Korean Hangul script, the circle symbolizes the letter "O," the triangle represents the letter "J," and the square signifies the letter "M." Collectively, these shapes can be utilized as the initials O-J-M for "O-Jingeo-Gime," the Korean term for "Squid Game."
The circle, triangle, and square are also featured on the masks worn by the workers. The circle denotes the lowest rank ("worker"), responsible for escorting participants to games, eliminating the losers, and removing them from the area. The triangle, or soldiers, are tasked with maintaining order. The square designates the managers who report directly to the Front Man.
Language:
The box art features "Squid Game" written in traditional Hangul, with the circle, triangle, and square depicted in pink. The set also contains components that allow the builder to display "Squid Game" in English, French, or Korean.
The Front Man nameplate is available in both English and French.
The Games:
Above the Front Man's office are two pink panels illustrating each of the six games played during the Squid Game, arranged in the sequence they were played. The games listed on the right panel are (top to bottom) red light green light, sugar honeycombs (dalgona) and tug-of-war. The left panel images (from top to bottom), marbles, glass bridge (glass stepping stones) and the Squid Game.
Should the builder wish to display "Squid Game" in Korean, the panels can be positioned as seen in the picture above. This arrangement reflects the order of the games following the traditional Korean writing style, which reads from top to bottom, right to left.
If the builder intends to display "Squid Game" in either French or English, they can adjust the panels as illustrated in the image to the left. This approach organizes the games into two equal columns, maintaining their original sequence when read from top to bottom and left to right, as is customary in English or French.
The Recruiter:
Located in a cubby hole to the right of the Front Man's office are three small tiles. The tan 1x2 tile serves as an easter egg, symbolizing the brown invitation distributed by the recruiter. The instruction manuals for this set are also a reference the invitations. They are designed to resemble the front and back of these invitations. (See pictures below.)
The red and blue tiles resemble envelopes, alluding to the Recruiter's game of Ddakji with potential players. Ddakji (딱지) is a traditional Korean game played with folded paper tiles. The objective of the game is to throw a folded paper tile (the "ddakji") at another person's ddakji on the ground, aiming to flip the opponent's ddakji over.
