Ferruccio Lamborghini was born on April 28, 1916, in Cento, Italy. He established Lamborghini Automobile on May 7, 1963. The company's iconic logo is a reflection of Ferruccio Lamborghini's astrological sign, Taurus, and his profound passion for Spanish bullfighting. After visiting the ranch of renowned bull breeder Don Eduardo Miura in 1962, Ferruccio was inspired to name nearly all of his legendary models, including the Miura, Aventador, and Diablo, after famous and formidable fighting bulls.
Huracán: Continues Lamborghini's signature tradition of naming its cars after legendary Spanish fighting bulls. "Huracán" was a famously courageous bull that fought in 1879.
Sterrato: The Italian descriptor for "dirt road," directly translating to the model's rugged, all-terrain capabilities like raised ground clearance, all-wheel drive, and specialized rally modes.
