It's All About the Money
In 2025 LEGO stunned the world by announcing that they now had the Pokémon license and would releasing their first Pokémon sets in early 2026. Since that announcement Mega fans have been asking “How could Mega let this happen!?” I cringed and shook my head every time I heard someone ask this question or some variant of the question. My thoughts were, “you idiot! There is no way Mega just LET their best-selling IP get taken from them! There must be a reasonable explanation. And there is. Check out the video.
