Notes:

The Covenant Crimson Combat Unit was released three different times with three different package designs.
The first appearance of the Covenant Honor Guard.
The first appearance of the Energy Stave (Energy Pike).
As part of the Mega Halo Armory Series, this set included a complete Crimson Combat Elite with additional parts to convert it to an Crimson Flight Elite or a Crimson Honor Guard.

Box & Packaging:

The Covenant Crimson Combat Unit was first released in early 2011 with the Mega ID No of 96959 and a copyright date of 2011.

The set was re-released in late 2011 or early 2012 with a new ID number of 97028. Although this release kept the blue and white design as its predecessor, the packaging went from a blister pack to a card board box. (Copywrite 2012)

The set was released a third time in 2012 under the ID number 97028. For this release the set returned to is blister pack origins, but the packaging artwork changed to black and yellow Halo 4 design. (Copywrite 2012)

Figures:

The Covenant Crimson Combat Unit included the following figures: One Combat Elite, one Elite Pilot, one Honor Guard one Covenant Grunt (v2) and one Spec Ops Grunt.

Weapons & Accessories:

All there releases of the Covenant Crimson Combat Unit included the following weapons: one Energy Stave, one Needle Rifle, two Plasma Grenades, one Energy Sword and Plasma Pistol. The only accessories included with the set where the three figure stands seen in the second picture.
