VARIANT:

The figure on the left was released as part of the 2011, ANNIVERSARY EDITION: FLOODGATE. In 2012, Mega Bloks released Blind Bag Series 5. The set originally included a purple Combat Elite Combat Form. It is unknown how many production runs Mega Bloks did for Blind Bag Series 5 but in later runs, maybe just the last one, the purple Elite was replaced with the blue version on the right. Although both figures use the same mold and have the same color scheme, there are several distinguishable differences.

• Both figures have a reddish-brown wash. The original figure that appeared in the 2011 FLOODGATE set (on the left), has a more defined wash pattern than the blind bag version.

• The 2012 Blind Bag version had maroon tentacles while the floodgate figure has red tentacles.

• The under armor on the figure's chest, left arm, waist and knees are is tan (unpainted) on the Floodgate figure but the same areas on the Blind Bag figure are dark gray.
